This PYROTEC Vario Stand 33 set is a specialised ceramic firing aid designed for use inside pottery kilns. It provides a configurable, heat-resistant framework to safely support pottery pieces, jewellery, or beads during high-temperature firings

This set consists of 2 moulded refractory firebrick blocks measuring 33 mm x 33 mm x 15 mm, each with 1 x 4 mm hole and 3 stainless steel firing rods 150 mm long.

The Vario system allows potters to pass the metal firing rods through the pre-drilled holes in the firebricks. By balancing the rods horizontally between the bricks, you create an elevated "mini-rack" or spit. This layout is ideal for firing items that cannot sit directly on a flat kiln shelf—such as beads, pendants etc.—allowing them to suspend in mid-air so their glaze doesn't fuse to the kiln furniture
