Kirschen | Professional Carving Tool set — 12 tools

The Kirschen Professional Carving Tool set contains the 12 most common woodcarving chisels and gouges in a practical roll-up case made of artificial leather.

The case features a secure fastening buckle and dedicated individual pockets to protect the sharp edges during transport. When opened out flat the case measures 29.5 cm x 48.5 cm.

The tools have hand-forged high-carbon steel blades, heat-treated to approximately 61 HRC along the entire usable length, and octagonal hornbeam handles designed for precise control and to prevent them rolling off your workbench. They have a blade length of 12 cm and their overall length is 25 cm.

The Kirschen Professional Carving Tool set contains the following tools:

• straight carving chisel, 8 mm wide
• angled carving chisel, 8 mm wide
• very shallow hollowing chisel, 8 mm wide
• very shallow hollowing chisel, 20 mm wide
• shallow hollowing chisel, 6 mm wide

TIP! Because they are made from pure high-carbon steel, these blades are susceptible to natural corrosion. They should be wiped down with a lightly oiled cloth (such as Ballistol Universal Oil) after each session or prior to long-term storage.
